Returns
You can return items within 30 days of purchase. Items that aren't defective must be unused, in the condition you received them and in their original packaging. Email info@mythrojan.com with your order number to get an RMA number before sending anything back. Return shipping on change-of-mind returns is paid by the customer.
If an item arrives defective, email info@mythrojan.com with a photo, a short description and your order number, and we will replace or exchange it at our cost. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an item has shipped.

Looking for an easy way to affix your medieval headwear? A fillet may be just what you need.
A fillet is a band of cloth worn around the head. It could be tied or fastened around the head to serve as a base for attaching headwear, or it could be used over the top of headwear to help hold them in place and as a decorative element.
This fillet is designed to tie around your head and is a great base onto which you can pin a veil, wimple, cap, or more elaborate headwear. It is suitable for a range of personas throughout the middle ages.
The fillet measures 50cm long by 10cm wide. It has four ties (two on each end) which are approximately 42cm long. The length is enough to wrap around your head once with a generous amount to tie in a bow at the back, or to wrap around your head twice, tying the ties in a knot at the front.
It is made of natural colour cotton/linen blend (87% cotton, 13% linen)
Fillets were popular throughout the medieval period. Women in Medieval Europe would typically cover their hair, for a range of reasons including religious reasons, for warmth and to help keep their hair clean. Natural or bleached linen was a common choice. It was soft against the skin and hair and sturdy enough to pin headwear to. It was also easy to clean and could withstand the abrasive cleaning processes used to remove hair oils and other dirt which would accumulate in items worn against the hair
